Shelby Gunter is a romance suspense author who loves to write twisted endings you’ll never see coming. She’s a graduate of Willow Springs High and currently lives in Kansas City with her husband and fur baby Charlee. She’s also an avid reader, coffee drinker, and very rarely is without either of those things in hand.

Katie Cahoj: In July of 2020, Katie was diagnosed with Alpha-Gal. Alpha-Gal is an allergy transmitted by ticks that causes an allergic reaction to mammal meat, and sometimes dairy products as well. She is now allergic to all mammal products, including dairy. When she began planning meals for her allergy, she found there was not much information about the allergy available, and fewer recipes. She decided to create her own collection of recipes that are safe not only for those with Alpha-Gal, but all recipes can easily be modified to suit a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle as well.
Katie is a Howell County native, the daughter of Ben and Belinda Eldringhoff, both amazing musicians.
Katie is a teacher at Junction Hill and recently built a house on a small farm in Pomona, along with her husband, Wayne, where she looks forward to starting a garden.
